Terms and Conditions

Last Updated: August 5, 2026

Welcome to ClickBaton. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the ClickBaton platform, website, and services (the “Service”). The Service is provided by ClickBaton (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

By creating an account or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of a company, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

1. Description of Service

ClickBaton is a server-side “True Traffic” intelligence platform. The Service ingests raw server access logs, processes them to bypass client-side blockers, and separates traffic into Verified Human, AI/Search Crawler, and Rogue Bot categories. The Service also provides analytics dashboards, Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) insights, and automated Web Application Firewall (WAF) rule generation.

2. Account Registration and Security

To access the Service, you must provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials, API keys, and ingestion endpoints. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other security breach. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with these security obligations.

3. User Responsibilities and Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You are solely responsible for the data you stream to ClickBaton.

  • Log Ownership: You affirm that you have the legal right and authority to collect, transmit, and process the server logs you stream to us.
  • Prohibited Activities: You agree not to use the Service to: (a) transmit unauthorized spam or malicious code through our ingestion pipeline; (b) attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or exploit the Service; (c) use the Service to infringe upon the privacy or intellectual property rights of others.

4. Data Ownership and Processing

You retain all right, title, and interest in your raw server logs and the derived analytics data (“Customer Data”). We process Customer Data strictly to provide the analytics, bot classification, and WAF rule features of the Service. We do not sell your Customer Data. Aggregated, anonymized data may be used to improve our collective threat intelligence network and bot detection algorithms.

5. WAF Rules and Infrastructure

The Service provides automated generation of blocking rules (WAF rules, Nginx configs, .htaccess). You acknowledge that bot classification is probabilistic and that implementing these rules on your origin servers is done entirely at your own risk. ClickBaton is not responsible for any downtime, server misconfigurations, or accidental blocking of legitimate human traffic that may result from applying these rules to your infrastructure.

6. Intellectual Property

We retain all rights, title, and interest in the Service, including the ClickBaton brand, dashboard interface, proprietary bot classification algorithms, and threat intelligence network.

7. Subscription and Billing

Access to the Service requires a recurring subscription fee. You agree to pay all fees as outlined on our pricing page or in your individual service agreement. Fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis and are non-refundable, except as required by law.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. We do not warrant that our bot classification will be 100% accurate or that our WAF rules will stop all malicious attacks. You rely on the Service at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ClickBaton shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms or if your account remains inactive for an extended period. Upon termination, we will cease processing your logs, though residual data may persist in encrypted backups for a limited time before permanent deletion.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice within the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
