You send us metadata about requests hitting your site. We classify each visit and show you what your traffic actually consists of.
We are not in your request path. Nothing we run can slow down or take down your website. The log agent reads a file; the SDKs send after your response has already gone to your visitor. If our service stops entirely, your site does not notice.
We also do not block anything. The blocking rules feature produces configuration for you to review and apply on your own infrastructure. That boundary is deliberate: a false positive on our side costs you a bad suggestion, not a real customer seeing a 403.
You keep ownership of your data. We process it to provide the service and for nothing else.
You are the data controller for your visitors, and we are your processor. Practically, that means telling your visitors you measure traffic, which most privacy policies already cover. Our design keeps this minimal: no raw IP storage, no cookie by default, nightly salt rotation. See the privacy policy for the detail.
If you switch on benchmark sharing, aggregate figures from your site contribute to category comparisons. You can switch it off at any time, and doing so stops future contributions.
Classification is a judgement, not a fact. We tell you what the evidence suggests, with a confidence figure and the specific signals that produced each verdict. We do not claim to be right every time and no honest system in this category could.
Specifically, we do not promise:
Decisions you make on the basis of our data are yours. If we say a campaign looks like click fraud, that is our reading of the evidence and a starting point for your own investigation, not a finding of fact.
If ClickBaton does not show you something worth knowing, ask within 30 days of paying and we return the money to your wallet balance. A person reads every request, usually within one working day.
Your data stays until its normal retention window ends. We do not hold it hostage against a refund.
Do not:
We may suspend an account that breaches this. Where it is a misunderstanding rather than deliberate, we will contact you first.
You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for, not immediately. If you paid for a month, you get the month.
You can delete your account from settings. Deletion removes your account, sites, and session data. Billing records are kept as long as tax law requires.
If we discontinue the service, we will give at least 60 days notice and provide a full export.
To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profits or consequential loss arising from decisions made using our data.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and disputes are subject to its courts. This does not remove consumer rights you have where you live.
